Goldwagen was established in 1992 and over the years has established itself as a globally recognised automotive parts distributor and franchise group. The company supplies an extensive range of OE Equivalent automotive parts to workshops, wholesale outlets, DIY enthusiasts, retailers, body repair shops and directly to the public.
In the early days of Goldwagen the company focused primarily on the distribution of Volkswagen and Audi parts. Demand however grew rapidly for a wider variety of parts and Goldwagen answered the call. The company now stock a wide variety of replacement parts for manufacturers such as BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mini, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Opel, Renault, Toyota, and Volvo, to name but a few.
To better serve Goldwagen customers and over 115 of its franchised outlets across Southern Africa, the company has a state-of-the-art distribution warehouse located in Centurion, Gauteng in South Africa. Goldwagen utilises its own transport fleet to ensure uninterrupted distribution. This also allows the company to offer its products at highly competitive prices. What is more is that many of the stores, which can be found nationwide, offer a delivery service which further enhances the effectiveness of parts distribution. Goldwagen is a proud member of Nexus, a global growth accelerator for progressive companies in the automotive industry, and the world’s second-biggest distributor of aftermarket automotive parts, comprising over 70 OEMs and over 148 members across the globe.
When Goldwagen says that it stocks the best, they truly mean it. The company has long-standing relationships with most of the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket manufacturers it deals with. This enables them to consistently supply automotive parts of the highest specifications at the best possible price. Some of these products are sourced from brands such as Bosch, Arnott, Monroe, Vemo, Garrett, Blue Print, DPA, SKF, Hella, Liqui Moly, MAHLE, MEYLE, BILSTEIN, Surebrake, SACHS, MANN Filter, Febi Bilstein and Wolf Lubricants just to name a few. The latter, Wolf Lubricants is exclusively available through the Goldwagen distribution network. Many of the above-mentioned brands are OEM suppliers for various vehicle manufactures and are thus built to the highest of standards.
Goldwagen uses a specially designed information system that has been built by their in-house IT department. Customers need only to give them their car’s VIN (vehicle identification number) and the system is able to search though the available inventory for the correct parts. The newly launched online parts finder is also a handy tool for customers to use. Here you simply select your vehicle’s make, model and category which you need parts for, and the system can pull up all available parts associated for your vehicle. This can be done via a computer or even a smart device. Once the customer has selected the desired parts, a quotation is sent to them. Their closest Goldwagen store is also notified, and a sales representative will contact the customer with further details.

To help deliver the above-mentioned quality products Goldwagen Head office has more than 450 employees that make a tangible difference to the way in which they do business through their efficiency and outstanding customer service. The franchise outlets have more than 1 200 committed employees which deliver exceptional client service daily. Each Goldwagen is individually owned and operated, and the franchisees are actively involved in their communities and, in effect, always selling the service they offer. A key element to the brand’s success, apart from the substantial range of OEM parts it stocks, has largely been down to the fact that its franchisees and employees are knowledgeable about cars and good spares. They can offer the best advice and service to the customer.
