Goldwagen Enterprise Stores

The following requirements are needed to set up a Branch. Please note that the monetary values quoted are VAT included and only estimated and could vary.

A total Capital Investment of R 1 500 000.00 would be required to start a Goldwagen Branch. An initial fee of R 60 000.00 is applicable.

Stock

+ R 1 100 000.00 We select a variety of items that you should stock and be capable of selling into your target market(This includes Volkswagen, Opel and BMW replacement parts). The initial opening stock will take approximately one month to pick and label, and must be paid for in full before stock will be dispatched.

Computers

Wag offers a complete solution to run and maintain your investment and give you information at your fingertips right from the word go, even if you are new to the industry. By using state of the art software and systems backed with our knowledge and expertise we can offer your peace of mind that your business has the best potential to grow. With everything from Stock Control, Debtors & Creditors Control, Stock forecasting and a fully integrated accounts system as well as many more features, WAG give you the complete confidence to run your business at peak proficiency.
A typical store would run at 4 users (3 sales points and a back office or admin machine).

The estimated costs for 4 users, will be:
R67.000-00 (once off) – For Hardware & Software
R 1.200-00 (monthly fee) – Includes VPN, 3 gig Internet connection & monthly user license. Please note that this does not include your ADSL line rental.

Licence Fee

A fee of R10 751.86 (VAT included) will be charged monthly with an 10% annual escalation thereafter.

Advertising

Compulsory by all Licencees as discussed at Monthly Meetings. We advertise in a variety of different media, including printed, audio and visual. We also exhibit in certain trade shows.
Our average monthly advertising expenditure for 2009 was approximately R 3 000.00 per month per franchise.

Delivery Costs

WAG will deliver free of charge if within delivery range. If outside the area agreed upon, a minimum order value of R20 000.00 will need to be placed for WAG to cover Courier costs, otherwise any freight will be for your own expense.

Training

A minimum of one months training at Goldwagen Pretoria West providing that the trainees have had previous Autoparts experience, however we recommend that two to three months training be completed. If the trainees do not have any parts experience a minimum of six months training is recommended.

The Licence Agreement must signed and your Joining fee be paid in full before any training commences at Goldwagen Pretoria West, which is a company owned store.

Retail/Building Space

“under roof” of + 200 - 350 sq.metres - preferably in a well-situated and visible place.

A monthly account will be opened with Wag and a monthly limit will be set and revised from time to time. Your stock will be supplied weekly to you and payments are strictly seven days from date of statement provided you have not reached your credit limit. Closing date for accounts being the last day of each month.

Credit Application must be signed and a normal credit reference check will be made on all applicants.

Meetings are held on a regular basis, where items of a general nature and operations are discussed. It is recommended that everyone attend.

Please take into account, that other costs such as Shelving, Set up of Counters, Displays, Tiling, Office Furniture and Fittings, Printers, Copiers, Telephones, Fax machine, and any delivery vehicles must be taken into consideration and will vary from Branch to Branch.

If you have capital of R 1 500 000.00 all the above setup costs should easily be covered.
